As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, using the bamboo plant in our products is incredibly eco-friendly and is so much softer than other fabrics.
I’ve also briefly touched on all the great properties of bamboo viscose (it’s breathable, lightweight, moisture-wicking, and temperature-regulating).
But recently, I’ve discovered that because of the great properties of bamboo viscose, people aren’t just wearing this fabric for comfort (though, that’s certainly an added bonus). Many are also wearing it for various health reasons.
Again, bamboo viscose is produced from a plant that grows naturally and does not require pesticides or chemical treatment. This reduces the risk of allergic reactions and skin irritation, so bamboo is ideal for those with eczema or sensitive skin.
In other cases, bamboo clothing is ideal for those who need to ensure easy movement. The soft, lightweight material is non-restrictive and allows for healthy blood flow – great for those who suffer from complications due to diabetes or circulation problems.
The temperature-regulating properties make it the ideal fabric for those who have a hard time controlling their body temperature whether it be from Fibromyalgia, MS, menopause, night sweats, or for those who just naturally run warm.
Who knew a plant could be this beneficial to your health!?
